My 90 Puma 2.2, Hi From Manchester
Hello everyone, I'm a new member up in NW England. I've often popped on to search through posts in the past, so thought it was about time I actually joined. I picked up my 2013 Defender early in 2017; a complete change to the little hatchbacks I'd always driven before. I absolutely love it, despite the number of people who ask 'Why a Defender in Manchester?'... because I've always wanted one!! I'm sure I'll be asking a few questions as I gradually do more bits, especially as it gets older and I have to learn more of the obligatory 'keep it on the road' mechanics.

Anyway here's a few pictures from my travels over the past 2 years. So far I've been down to Lands End, up to John O'Groats and from the west of Wales to the east of Norfolk. Any excuse for a road-trip Very Happy

Thanks guys Thumbs Up Yes that last pic is on the NC500. To my shame, it was the first time I'd been north of Edinburgh and it definitely won't be the last; it was stunning up there. Very Happy

Yes, I picked some security bits before I'd even picked it up! I've changed all the bolts for security ones, religiously use my steering and pedal locks, security marked the parts, installed driveway bollards, rigged up CCTV and fitted a tracker... beyond that, I figured if someone wants it, they'll find a way... as sad as that always makes me feel Crying or Very sad

Welcome Rob and a very tidy looking Defender you have kept quiet.

Some really good picture to match, though there is another very keen photographer on this channel, again a very keen eye for the great outdoors, Im sure he will be along very soon.
