I was thinking it would go in the front and lift over the front seats into the back Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Fitted the Kargo Carrier in my 90. Nice product wifh loads of room inside it and frees up floor space. Which is at a premium in a 90. Dara from Tuff Trek was really helpful and always happy to offer advice. I'd always recommend to buy from them.

Hunky gibbon, did you have to drill holes in the channel to fit the brackets at the rear of the basket? Mine is a hardback 90 and didn't have any holes for grab handles, it was easy enough to do, I don't know about you but I'm very happy with the karrier, a bit pricey but a great idea and nice bit of kit
Bluest.... The basket went in no problem with the drawer in situ Optimists say the glass is half full.. Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Nope didn't have to drill holes. Just replaced the handles and fitted the carrier using existing OEM screws. There were already drilled because my 90 is a Station wagon.
I didn't know 90 hardtop were delivered with no grab handles aka no holes. Soind like you'll need to drillI. Email Dara at Tuff Trek and he can advise on size. I will get one of the screws out tonight and measure up to help. |

This is on my wish list as my dogs crate takes up all the useful storage area so when touring i am looking for a shelf that will sit just above the dog crate.....;
1. How low can it hang from the roof? The website says it can be 'lowered to a user defined height'. Ideally I would have sitting halfway between the boot floor and the ceiling, i.e. half way up the window height. Hope that makes sense! 2. What is the weight limit? Can I use it for suitcases etc? If what I want doesn't work with this product - any other recommendations? Thanks very much. |

It is hinged at the front end and swings down for access. It’s the how far it drops that is adjustable. The stowed position is a fixed height. Also it is really best suited to lightweight items, coats, sleeping bags etc as it is supported by the existing grab handle screws. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I think the front hinged part could be modified by means of a hanger arrangement and the end that lowers could also be modified with a similar arrangement, I’ve been thinking about it but I’ve just moved house and that little “mod” is for another day, her indoors has a BIG list that needs sorting first 🤷🏼♂️
But I think it will be a simple enough mod to do 👍🏼 Optimists say the glass is half full.. Pessimists say the glass is half empty.. Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be! |

Many thanks for the responses.
Is there an alternative product i should be looking at? Attached is an image of the sort of thing I'm looking for......note the height of the 'upper' shelf. Thanks Mark |
