Time for a change...
Had a nighttime visitor at 1:30am last week. Didn’t take anything but was clearly checking security on my 110 - he even turned the sensor on the security light that overlooks the 110 around so it stayed off. The obvious layers of security put him/them off for now, but I can’t be doing with wondering if it’ll be there in the morning, or if someone’s going to break in for the keys. Plus we’ve already had the doors stolen once before, and so the decision has been made and I’m PXing it for a D4 tomorrow.

Won’t be the same, but different is good, and I’ll still be driving something with a green oval on the front.

Everyone has been very helpful on here and I hope folk are the same on the disco3 forum.

Cheers

Mike

Having had a D4 I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. Just be aware if it has keyless entry you may want to disable it or keep your keys in a faraday cage. I'm afraid you will still run a risk of theft with a D4 although probably a lot less than a Defender. Good luck with your Discovery. Defender 90XS SW

A great shame but, as said, totally understandable.

This is a major downside to Defender ownership, it's sad it's like this, I worry whenever I park my one. I didn't need to when I had a Discovery, crazy when you think about it, but I guess it's just the fact Defenders are easy to strip down for parts.

Sure you will enjoy a D4 though Thumbs Up

It's a Censored Censored world when you've got to get rid of your defender before some lowlife decides to steal it. Evil or Very Mad
