Disco springs on a 90
In the process of deciding what to upgrade my suspension with on my td5 90. I've picked up some fox remote res shocks on eBay for the rear so will be getting some fox's for the front too.

As far as springs go I'd like Alive comfort springs in a standard height, I've called them and they've said their working on it. So in the meantime I was thinking about using disco springs to soften it up. As currently I've got standard 90 spring on the front (175lbs) and HD rears (210/240lbs).

The springs I was thinking of using were the genuine dual rate 155/210lbs disco rears/110 fronts all round... or possibly disco 150lbs springs on the front and the dual rate ones on the rear has anyone on here done this? I was thinking the firm dampers and softer springs will go well together and a fairly low cost option. I'd try keeping the existing anti roll bar to start with but if it's a bit too boaty I'd put an Alive one on.

I'm not after a racing defender just something a little less harsh the standard HD springs and 17 year old shocks aren't great at the moment haha

EDIT: the defender is driven with just me and no load 99% of the time

Look at the castellated spring isolators also.
Can be fitted too and bottom all the way around. No Guts, No Glory.
