Yeah, definitely the Rover engine. Offered as it suited the market for tax purposes. Apparently, it was quite a nice engine with power comparable to a V8. It lacked low down torque though, so the towing limit was reduced to 2 tonnes in those vehicles.

It was, by all accounts, a simple matter to bolt on the turbo from the fast Rover 200 of the day, which totally transformed it. Darren
