It looks great especially with the sawtooth wheels.
May I ask where did you purchase the gearbox mod from and does it make a big improvement to the gear change? |

Thanks,
...the Slick shift was bought from Syncro Gearboxes and can be found here Personally I don't think it was worth the money I spent on it, however I seem to be the minority and everyone else seems to love them. |

It's never had them, as far as I know its a hard top xs spec - but I'm not 100% sure as I didn't buy it new and the defender specs have always confused me

Fairly certain that started life as a 90 hardtop and has had the Windows added at some point.
If it was a 90 station wagon it wouldn't have the bulkhead fitted. 2015 Defender 90XS HT |

Did the 90 hardtop have a square wheelarch/tub profile ...you can see from the rear inside picture that it appears square rather than sloped ......or is that a pre/post my2012 thing?

2002 model year, to coincide with the XS station wagon model.
It is only the County and XS 90 that have the bulkhead deleted, the base model station wagon still had it up until the 2007 Puma was introduced with forward facing seats. This what somebody posted to me when I asked this question. |

Very very nice, GLWTS. If I didn't have mine already and I was in the market I would be interested. No Guts, No Glory.

Its interesting that it is not selling .....nobody must be buying at these inflated ptices!I only know from late 2014 prices but your model hardtop without the mods and a bit of haggling would of sold new for between 19500 -21500.....so you were trying to sell a 5- 6 year old car for several thousand pounds more than the original owner bought it ..........i think people are not willing to pay the inflated prices ...i think you might get a bite at the 18-20 grand mark because folk may think its a bargan when in reality it is probably a realistic price ..I hop you get top doller fella but you might be waiting a while unless you get a whim buyer Rather than looking at the for sale section look at the ebay sold section and you might get the going rate for your truck |
