Looking for ideas
I'm going to upgrade my radio to a double din. Looking around now at the Kenwood with apple play and DAB.
IS anyone else got one? How do you find it?
Looking to put an amp in and extra speakers

Hi Chris

I have ordered a Kenwood DMX7017DABS double din unit, loom, reversing camera and a Defender Upgrades dash with moving vents, just waiting for the kit to arrive and my car to come back from the dealers yet again to get it all installed.
Did a lot of reading and was nearly buying Pioneer but they have an issue with DAB tuner errors stemming from a non replaceable internal fuse popping. The Kenwood scored 5 stars on the Auto Express tests and the one I tried in a VW was remarkably simple to use and they donโ€™t seem to any major problems at the moment.

Hopefully it will be up and running over next couple of weeks.

Cheers

Match RMS wattage of Amp output to speaker RMS wattage. Or as close as you can.

So if your Amp produces 50wrms per chanel at 4 Ohm, that is one channel. You would need a single 4ohm 50wrms speaker.
(Or near).
That is an example, it also depends if wired in series or parallel as to your final impedance in Ohms and wattage.

Depends how many speakers you want but you'll likely require a 4channel Amp.

Basically at the moment I've got 2 10cm Hertz and Rainbow flat sub. I've also 2 16cm Hertz speackers that I'm going to put in the seat boxes. I'm starting at the front working back over.

I want to put the sub under the cubby box. Just want the best sound I can get out of it
