AP Racing Front and Rear Brake upgrades
All,

Spent the past hour on here looking at older posts of updated calipers and discs etc. posts are 3-4 years old

I’ve decided on AP Racing calipers and discs. BTW, my 90 is in need of new discs all around, so exploring options and want to go bigger. 6 pot front, 4 pot rear.

A few questions,

The older posts suggest there are options or kits for the rears, know that you can readily get the fronts, who supplies the rear kits, mounting brackets, assume they are not ready to bolt on without them.

Does Ian @ IRB still supply the full kit, front and rear?

Anyone else out there who could help please, tried rakeway, but they don’t have any listing for brakes.

Cheers

Mark

Got to ask, what for? Unless youve fitted a much heavier or much more powerful engine the standard brakes are more than up to the job. The kits arnt cheap either at +£2k.

If your brakes are shoddy, replace the calipers with genuine ones and some slotted discs from EBC + decent pads.
