Any ideas what this wire is for?
Just sorting out my new speaker pods, but rear drivers corner what is this wire?

That's a permanent live feed that can be used for all sorts of accessories. ISTR it's fused at 10amps.

A quick search for 'purple wire' will reveal all sorts of interesting threads but this one is a good one to start with:
