Forward facing rear seat not folding.
Late this afternoon I discovered one of my rear seats will not tip up.

Seat back folds down ok, but then folded seat will not tip up.

Any suggestions for a quick fix?

If it is not releasing, there is a little wire rope that connects the lever to the release clip . To access the rope you need to remove the plastic cover on the seat base just in front of the handle, you should be able to gently lever the little rope to release the seat . On the little rope there is a small adjuster which allows you to shorten or lengthen it as needed .
As usual it is a poor design and wears over a period of time, hope this helps I have done my right seat more than once but never had to do the left one !!!!!

Thanks Nick.

Will take a look when I get some daylight time. It's my RHS seat (as you look in from rear door). It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.

When l got round to looking at this, a couple yanks on the release leaver and seat folded as it should. Will take a look at the release mechanism when the days get brighter, longer .....and warmer! It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.
