Fair enough, sometimes a place might start offering a new thing because they've recently employed someone who has prior experience elsewhere. Then there's cases like this where they sound like they're looking for any extra business they can find.

Did the light in the middle of the dial not flash when it conked out? usually the amount of flashes can be related to a code for a specific fault.

Steveyorks - I do not have any light in the dash - just a simple on off switch
And yes it is still working fine - must have been a fuel blockage
