Car Aerial Connector Identification
Hi,

I am helping a neighbour to sort out her VW T5 camper van with a new double din unit. All is working except the DAB signal is poor, there is one obvious stick on DAB aerial on the windscreen which I am using with a standard DAB SMB connector. There is however a much bigger looking aerial on the windscreen as well, see here:

But it has a connector I cant identify:

Its not a FAKRA connector, and doesn't fit into a standard DAB SMB connector. I am hoping I can just buy a converter, from this to SMB, but this assumes a) the aerial is a DAB aerial, and b) such a connector exists, can anyone identify it ? There is also a FAKRA connector coming out of the standard factory loom, but it is unused, as this is a T5 conversion, I think the factory aerial that would have been on the roof has been taken off.

Thanks

Alastair
