I have had 3 of them for 3 years now Steve. I use a lot of conventional metal shackles for work but not this type not sure if they will find their way into the construction industry, I will ask the crane company we use to see if they are in use on a commercial basis Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

People buy premier products for many different items. How many people on here have fitted Blindo, Bowler or Zu Rims instead of the standard steel wheels offered?

Soft shackles have been around for about a decade now. Started off in the sailing industry I believe. Just found THIS An interesting read about how to do different soft shackles.

Personally I would be careful on just using them to joint straps together or around reasonably large diameter metal parts.
