I am no expert but I don't think this Landrover/ Leyland truck would score many points on the rebuild scale. Some dealer will sell anything.

I don’t even know where to start about the cobbled mess they are trying to sell
I know series are not known for flush fit panels/doors but look how bad the alignment is on the pic of the rear tailgate 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

It also appears to be a good way of saving on tax and MOT costs. Build something out of a bag of parts then get a log book for a completely unrelated old vehicle like a Leyland truck and put those number plates on your new build. Job done. No tax and no MOT. ..... FFRR TDV8 sold

An "A"-suffix registration does not date from 1959 but from 1963.
I am sure that this particular "untilty" [sic] has graced this forum before.... Aha, here we are: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic57484.html?start=21 |
