I read the OP's post as 'wants the connector'
Anyway, the Black 5-way switch connector is available from Dingocroft, here - http://shop.dingocroft.co.uk/acatalog/Elec...#aZZPLUG01 . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' |

Re-reading your post, are you planning to use a Rear Fog Lamp Switch for Front Fog Lamps? If so, I don't think that this switch will be suitable. Regardless of it being an earth switching switch, it doesn't latch (stay 'on' when pressed). The Rear Fog Lamps are actually switched on by an ECU, the Dash Switch only makes a 'momentary' earth path that signals the ECU to do the actual switching. Land Rover supply a Front Fog/Auxiliary Lights Switch, Part No. YUG000540LNF This switch also uses the Black connector and is also an earth switching switch, but it latches (stays 'on' when pressed in and switches 'off' (pops out) when pressed again) Details on this switch and how to wire it are covered in this thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic552.html?start=18 I also noticed from your pictures, that your Rear Fog Lamp Switch appears to be missing it's illumination wire (Red/Orange wire to Pin 2) - it looks to have pulled out of the back of the connector. . Morea, my Spanish is hopeless, much worse then your English.
However my partner Barbara is fluent in Spanish, (She can swear like a trooper in MexicanSpanish) If you need any help just pm me in Spanish and I can get Barbara to translate for you. She does struggle slightly on the more technical terms associated with vehicles but she will help if she can Brendan |
