Funny enough, I goofed while loading a 3m length of trunking into the Def yesterday, and also need a screen! Would have thought not many people sell good 2nd hand screens?

Hoping someone has upgraded to a heated.
Also got a wheel bearing to do after she destroyed it in a "pot hole" |

I'm replacing my heated screen next week and have my existing screen that I'm pulling out (along with ALL the rest of my 110 glass). Unfortunately I'm in Herts, but I have a good windscreen and glass.

You're removing the heated screen? Do the elements still work ok?
Obviously first refusal to mowcop, but if the location doesn't work I'd be interested! |

Herts is a bit too far, but thanks for the response.

I have a brand new heated VGS screen in my cellar. I got it a while back along with the wiring kit and seal. I’ve fitted the wiring kit but the screen has a green tint and my windows are clear. The screen fitter had already removed my old glass before we noticed the colour difference so he used the new seal to refit my old unheated windscreen. I never got round to sending it back to VGS so it’s still lying here. I’m not sure how much they are new but I will ask £100 plus postage for it. If either of you fancy it give me a PM but I will give first dibs to mowcop as he was the OP.

As far as I know your windows will either come clear - as mine - or with a green tint. I believe the green tint is very common on Defenders. I didn’t want to fit it to mine as it would have meant I had a green tinted front window and clear everything else. Some people wouldn’t have worried about it but it would have bothered me.

Very tempting but again a little far away and not sure about postage?
Is it packed already? |

Mowcop. Yes, it’s back in its original packaging that it arrived here in. Another roll of ‘Fragile’ tape wrapped round it would see it good to go. It’s just lying there not going anywhere so you can have a think and let me know if you fancy it. All the best for the coming New Year, Roddy.
