Well... Talk about life getting in the way!!!
I quit work and started up on my own. I had to use the chassis money I had to buy a van, (MK6 Transit) which I've had fun updating. The bike then needed new rubber and a chain & sprockets. Misses car broke again and my daughter broke her leg! Needless to say the Landy had been put on the back burner! I'm still up for a new chassis so have jumped back on the rusty nuts! |

well done on going it a lone fella, that's a challenge in its self! I made the jump 3 years ago from retail into production, and the company just took me on full time, a week before easter. Thing was they dragged their heels about taking people on, and I was with in days of starting a new job, when my supervisor ran practically 90 mph to talk to me about stopping etc.
Some times I do wonder if it was the right thing to do, as work as dropped right off now, That's due to cars coming to the end of production life. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

The order's been put in. Hopefully hear back from them later.
Treated myself to a large compressor and a load of accessories to help with the build. |

10 week lead time it seems! Oh well, order's all confirmed which is exciting!
It's gonna give me plenty of time to get prepared... In the meantime I'll try to remember to take lots of pics. I reckon I've got Sunday off so I'll be stripping her down some more. |

Sound about right, that's how long ours was from order to delivery, but worth the wait ....If you any of your wiring looms are jiggered autosparks, has a similar lead time too, so plan ahead 90 rebuild thread - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic62909.html Cheers Laurie 90 rebuild thread - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic62909.html |
