What they going on?
I've just moved to 35/12.50/15 on 10x15 ET-33 and they won't fit without some mods (2 inch lift, +2inch wheel arches.) Was previously running 285/75/16 on 16x8 ET0 which is similar size to a 33/12.5/15 in dimensions and they fit on a standard 110 ok. The 35's Click image to enlarge The 285's Click image to enlarge |

They're going on my RRC which already has a 2" lift and +2" springs... just need to see how much clearance clarence there is, or, isn't... I've got a set of 5 33/12.50/15's on my semi dead Jeep YJ which have only done a few hundred miles.. unfortunately the Jeep is 5x4.5" PCD and I need 5x6.5" as it's the old LR size, so I'm going to need some new rims, and I didn't want to shell out for the rims only to find that I've got to hack 5" out of the wheel arches and fit 4" flares!.... If it's that bad a fit I'll just get some new tyres RRC 2.4 TD... it's either a stretched 90 or shrunken 110!!

Is your car on the road ? If you fancy a drive to Nottingham you can have wheels and tyres test fitted at Bardills Garden Center (JCS wheels and tires) 7 days a week if you phone Charles first

Yes the car is on the road..
only trouble is the fuel cost would be about the same as a new rim.... so I'd probably be better off getting one for a test! RRC 2.4 TD... it's either a stretched 90 or shrunken 110!! ML 270CDI |
