My camper/pick up.
Hi all
Found this old pic while sorting out some paper work and thought you would like to see it. This is my Mazda B2000 pick up with a Suntrekker demountable camper ( mk1 ) on the back, when i had 4 days or more off i used to put it on and go off somewhere, great fun, this was took in Cornwall somewhere, cant remember as it was in 1988 Shocked long time ago, i had such good times with it and then finally sold to my best mate who kept on to me that he wanted it......................................

That's cool. Dad had a couple of those back then before moving on to the subaru versions. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I remember seeing the Suntrekker demountable campers been parked up in Scotland years ago. Not sure if you can still get them now. Is it still on the road ? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Thank you lambert, i was going to upgrade to the MK2 so i went up to bath especially to see it, what a waste of time as it had been yupiefied and not practical at all, i was well disappointed, so i kept this one for a while longer Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Yes williamthedog, i have allot of great memories of the travels and other peoples look on there faces as when i un hooked it at a camp site and i could just drive of and explore Laughing

I dont think you can get them anymore, i think they were bought out by a bigger firm Procta and sadly its no longer on the road, my best mate had it loaded up the night before and when he came out to go of he opened the back and it was full of black soot/smoke, he was very lucky that it did not catch fully alight but the wire managed to short it self somehow, i was very upset with him as he did not give me the chance to by it back from him so i could bring it back to life again Sad 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
