Got the Correct Abs sensors and i managed to fit the rear disc guards that i had ordered off some years ago so all is practically back together again

But guess what this silly fool ended up getting

took the car out for a quick test around the block to see if the brakes and suspension was ok, I bloody get caught doing 35 in a 30, just pulled off the rounderabout and the

clocked me

He was parked right down the street, which is very odd, as they normally park directly across the road from me.

Well 3 points and a fine for me

if they give the speed awareness course i will just take that rather than the points.
No excuses for me speeding so i am not going to make any

Two fast metros and i get busted in a 306 HDI

Only thing you lads can really do is laugh

you are not wrong there, only took it out for a quick test. Laugh was i was clocked speeding going down hill

But i need to get the old rear axle away but with wages been tight that stung me hard, and with me been on nights this week, its a dead horse getting it away this week

I managed to get the old unit away last week, and today i managed to give it a long waited Oil and fuel filter change. So the car sounds nice and smooth. I will need to get the blower fan out though and give the unit a spray with WD40 or something as it decided to seize. Got the CD changer working again. Just need to work on budget to get the proper wheels back on the car.

well hard to believe that this sweet heart is 20 years old!
The Y plate 3 doors were the last to be registered on the Y plate. Most were on the X plate. The 5 door and cabs still knocked around till the 51 plate and then the estate on the 02 /52 plate.
i have just renewed the insurance of 288 quid a year on it, which now practically buttons compared to what i was paying when i bought her, back in 2007! she is worth that now

Once things start to cool down this year, i am going to get the original wheels back on, as i can see her needing new tyres this year. i have to change the console due a button dropping to pieces

I may buy another one to keep in stock
