Best winter all terrain tyre? Also Blindo vs Wolf?

I presently have the standard Continental Cross Contact AT's on, which have been great.

I'm driving to the Alps soon, and although I don't think the car needs it, I've been considering winter tyres on Wolf Wheels (or Blindos in Black), because I think they look cool and because I think they'll be better at low temperatures.

Would this be worth doing, or if I fancy a change am I best off just going for for KO2s?

My requirements are:
- great off road on a mix of terrain
- great in winter / snow (the 3 peaks symbol)
- mixed use - mostly drive on road, but do take the vehicle off road quite a bit
- want them to look a bit cool

Oh, and any recommendations re: Blindo's vs. Wolf's? Anyone used the Dakar's?

kO2's will be fine, wheel choice is purely your preference

Been looking into this myself. BFGs KO2 ATs obviously are a popular, but expensive, choice. The other option which keeps coming up as being very very good are the Yokohama Geolander G015. They also have the snowflake symbol (as do the BFGs) so are a proper winter tyre. Seem a better choice if you actually spend most of the time on tarmac and value road manners over ultimate off road ability

As said, wheels visually are a very personal choice and I do love my Wolfs, however I would take into consideration that they do appear to like the salt at all

Blindos and BFGs with a pair of snow chains for the sticky bits. But in my opinion not black Blindos

If you're looking for a second set of wheels for the winter then definately go for winter tyres, they aren't just better in snow, they're better in any cold weather including the wet

I would go for Nokian myself

That wheel and tyre combination looks ace!

What are the dimensions if you know? Is it a straight swap for boosts?

235/85r16 is standard. Direct swap for boosts with steel wheel nuts

My dad has them on his Honda civic (FWD) - it makes it possible to drive it up a steep muddy rutted track without fuss

Fantastic. Any recommendations for best place to get the Wolfs / Nokkians? Sorry for being lazy lol, however someone may have experience?

Openeo or tyreleader are both very good
