Puma Odometer needed URGENTLY
Hi everybody..
I am in desperate need of a Puma odometer. ONLY the display is defective and it will not pass riteve which is our version of MOT.

Who can sell me a second hand odometer of the whole instrument or the printed circuit?

I have been searching for weeks. There is a company called LRI who ADVERTISES them but does not reply to email, calls from me or my supplier or their mail form. Evil or Very Mad

Yes sure it is for a Land River.

Wasn't aware that this could be misunderstood. A 2007 110 to be exact. Fixing Land Rovers in rural Guanacaste

If somebody knows of another display that will fit that is fine, too. I have fixed some l322 and BMW ones but couldn't find parts for this particular instrument. Fixing Land Rovers in rural Guanacaste

I have recently put an ultragauge in my dash, and to make it, I used parts from what I believe are a freelander dash - which someone (ian) on this forum kindly sent me.

It looks like that is the same display unit? My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html

Yes, it was a Freelander dash.

I don't think they would be as simple as a plug and play though?
They have the same plastic housing, and gauge set up, but that's about where it ends,
There is a lot more electrickery in the FL cluster than the Defender.

Also the instrument display card is very different, with various warnings in different locations.
DPF re gen lamp being one of them.

I think you will need a genuine Defender cluster. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

Hi Ian
all I need is the odometer.
Never mind the warning lamps etc.

2 numbers are missing lines hence they say they can't read the kms and it will NOT pass.
Please look at my photo.
If you reckon this is identical it WILL do

I think I got a pretty good chance to find a half dismanteled Freelander here, in th eUK or anywhere. Chances to find a half dismantled Defender Puna are zero.. they are all on the road.

Thank you I have found one. Was very difficult to pay them but I found a damgaed instrument cluster with working odometer one at one of ebay options @ £100. Still a lot cheaper than more than 2 months salary to Land Rover Fixing Land Rovers in rural Guanacaste
