Warsop water pump information needed.
I am trying to help a Heritage Railway who have a Warsop water pump which is powered by a Briggs and Stratton petrol engine. This is an old pump and the company ceased trading in the 1990's , with the help of a local college the engineering students are attempting to restore the pump to working order but have been stopped by the lack of technical literature and lack of spare whether new or second hand.
They have searched the interweb and contacted friends of friends but all to no avail .

I know its a long shot but does anyone on here have any knowledge of Warsop pumps. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Although not familiar with Warsop pumps,
I've owned quite a few over the years from the 1920s through to the 60s that I had belted up to my Stationary engines,

They were either double acting ram pumps, deep well pumps etc...
Most of these I had either rescued from the scrap man, or had brought from farm sales etc.

A lot of parts are still available for these old pumps, either new old stock, or remanufactured parts,
I've used these for many parts, they hold a decent stock of pump parts,
Even if they can't supply you, they may know who to try?

Good luck Thumbs Up
