2nd Row Seats - Plastic Cover

Hello, redoing the ply line in my defender.

Can anyone tell me is the 6 small screws in the plastic cover that surrounds the 2nd row rear fold down seat mount are held in by captive nuts or something else?

I'm toying with removing it but not if it's going to cause a headache with nuts dropping off underneath into the snow should i decide to keep it for any reason.

I think mine just has spire clips in so they shouldn't move much. Ray
