I've sold my Defender so have a few bits to sell including this great pedal lock.
Mine from new, this 'ardcase lock is the bee's knees - British made (and well made), it gives a very visible deterrent for would-be thieves. Manufacturer's description........Simple yet effective, the 'ardcase is a security device constructed from 3mm steel and manufactured in the UK, that securely encases the pedals of your Land Rover Defender to deter and prevent theft of your vehicle. Impervious to prolonged attack from drills, crowbars and grinders, the 'ardcase offers a supremely tough level of security at an affordable price. The 'ardcase deadlock mechanism is protected by 9mm of hardened steel. Thick enough to kill off any rechargeable drill! To install the 'ardcase you simply place the casing around the pedals, close the hinged front casing and lock the 'ardcase using the supplied keys (2). When installed the 'ardcase creates a tough, secure steel jacket around the pedals while presenting a visible deterrent to any would be opportunist thief. You can see a video demo here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ardcase Weighing in at 5Kgs, it's a reassuringly chunky bit of kit. I found that it tucked away neatly and securely under the rear seats of my XS station wagon. Comes complete with a full set of original stickers (for inside or outside of windows) and two keys. Asking £120 delivered to UK mainland including insured signed-for postage - which is bloody expensive due to the weight. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
