There is no substitute for cubic inches -
http://www.mdengineering.co.uk/3-2-tdci-engine-conversion/ - sensible option https://jalopnik.com/these-guys-build-land...1687423057 - petrol head option |

2012 2.2 it’ll be the old oil pump issue that’s not been upgraded under recall.
I cheated and read another thread |

I replaced Mine with a new 2.2, but added a BAS remap. I seriously Considered the 3.2, but it seemed that the electronic side of things was tricky and expensive.
Next time, it will either be an LSD with auto box, or yet another 2.2 Realistically, the 2.2 with remap has more than enough power for anything I need. |

Thanks guys. @Siwynne yep that was it.
Looking up V8 options now. That Twisted sound... 15k+ for someone to put the 3.2 in seems to much but would love to hear from someone who's done it. Otherwise will go Inigo's route with a new 2.2 and get it over-serviced, more than regularly |

IMHO, if ya're looking at V8 options, then it's gotta be LS3.
Going V8 is by no means a simple, or cheap option, in fact it's darned expensive, and complicated, to do it correctly. If ya're gonna go to all that trouble, then I reckon an LS3 would make it all worthwhile. Pickles. |

Big Steve on here put the 3.2 in his. I spoke to him about it at when I was looking for a new engine. I think BAS were the ones who did the electronics for him.
