Seatbelt recoil
Hi all

Seatbelts on MY08 2.4 TDCI XS are a bit slow recoiling, is it possible to access the spring and re-tension or is it a case of new belt units?

Any thoughts...

Springs are normally a coil spring and can't be re-tensioned, things like seatbelts are a massive safety item, any doubts fit a new genuine one I wouldn't fiddle with it as if the worst happened and it failed due to tampering it wouldn't be nice. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

They are around £160 each.

TMD have them a lot cheaper but in red, Genuine are the price above.

Mine are a bit slack too, both nothing too much to worry about yet. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
