I think I know the part you mean but can't remember it's name. Dorset will no doubt be along in a mo to give the correct info. Leave it to the professionals an' all that! WARNING.

If it's a clean split, try superglue before buying an expensive complete assembly. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

I know the part you mean and you are correct that it is piece of the Part no: #1 on the diagram and NOT sold separately.
(Rubber gaiter above the selector ball, over the selector shaft but retained under the whole selector assembly.) Mine wanted changing ideally too but not easily obtained, if you go to a breakers or eBay that's all very well but it won't be a new part either. Very annoying issue really as it's a single part. I tried tracking one down, but was categorically told that it wasn't available as a part on its own. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
