I am very interested in these doors.
What about the galvanised strip that runs along the top of the door on series is that a separate part. It is just that I am thinking of going the whole galv cappings look on mine and galv door cappings would be needed for continuity. |

It's not included in the kit but I'm sure we can negotiate something as I would definitely want some for mine, I for one think the new style doors spoil the lines of the defender by not continuing the capping past the rear tub! 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

I totally agree with you even though I have a modern Defender as well.
So I will put myself forward on the group buy list. |

Kit, I bought the gal. strips for the top of the lower doors, at the same time as I bought the SP conversion kit. They are listed on the SP site. They were easy to fit, they just rivet on. Cheers Simon

I would love to buy some of these. I am looking forward to seeing a thread with pictures or a video about fitting them. Cheers Don.

ok I have good news and bad news......
The good news is Will is interested in the idea of doing something. Early discussions include doing a forum discount on purchase price. So no money goes to anyo e other than sp4x4 preventing any kind of fraud etc. bad news.... you will have to wait as they are currently sold out on all doors and have just bought the tooling etc to fro. the old suppliers of the doors to begin making them in house. They are going to be a few months clearing their back order before they can do a group discount 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car) 2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r |
