you have a choice of 2 places one on the steering column

I moved mine to the headlining just in front & above the drivers head, it stopped everyone shouting "what! I can't hear you"
Especially when going round corners when the steering wheel covers the microphone! |

I found mine was hit and miss in the above location, not sure why though, you had to make sure you spoke at it if a start.
I don't think they are the best any of them to be honest, they are far to quiet. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

You could put it where the factory put it - right in front of the side/headlamp warning light!!!!! It really does annoy me, just something else to add to the list of why I'm a grumpy old man. Defender 90XS SW

Get a mud roof console and put it on the edge of that closest to you, mine now works brilliantly Ray
