I would be interested in this but confused, sorry English not so good.
If I buy this I must then take an ownership transfer and remap from BAS, correct?
I think this can not be the case because it becomes to the same price to that of buying new with BAS?

Is it that the map is transferred too with this? If so I am interested to buy this.

Just thought I would chip in on this one for clarity.

The "Transfer of Ownership" offering from Pete on his website is only if you buy the BAS2 RRC with the vehicle that it was originally used on i.e. you buy the Defender and tool at the same time for continued use on the original vehicle. The charge is to re-register the tool into the new owners name and offer support to the new owner. and costs £25 + VAT so £30 inclusive.

If you are buying the BAS2 RRC from someone that is selling one without the original vehicle it will need to be firstly, put back to standard i.e as a new tool, secondly re-registered into the new owners name and then a map purchased for the new vehicle. The new map and registration is £350 + VAT so £420 inclusive.

A new tool and map from Pete is £695 + VAT so £834 inclusive so by purchasing this tool the total cost would be £150 + £420 = £570 inclusive and a significant saving over a new one.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free
