Ok so I'm not an expert on the ins and outs of the stage one but this is the correct age and to me looks correct, if it is I wish I could purchase it however impending house purchase means I can't so I hope someone on here can save her.

It's a standard Series III V8 and not a Defender.

For what else is on the web about it does look like an actual Stage 1.

Looks to have an LT77 gearbox fitted, log book says 109 V8 SW and also seems to have lost 51k off its mileage at the between its last two MOTs 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

Good spot on the gearbox - definitely not original, but looks to be a genuine Stage 1 in all other respects. Darren
