Changing a 300tdi fuel cap to a td5 one

Hi all,

I wanted to get those nice aluminium fuel cap (optimill specifically) but I have a larger pre td5 locking fuel cap. Was wondering if what part of the fuel tank/neck would I need to change if any to make it possible? Apologies for the noob questions
