[Wanted] Snap On Ratchet Screwdriver or Spares ?

Hiya , I have a black handled Snap-On ratchet screwdriver . Been a great pal for a few years . Now the end bit isnt magnetic anymore - I think the wee bit at the end may have become dislodged ?

It is the hard black handle model so I'm not sure if I just buy a new shaft for it ? I went online and see how you can easily change the shaft but I'm not sure if the interchangable shafts you can buy will suit the hard plastic model or if they are just for the rubberised handle screwdrivers .

All you snap on guys out there will know exactky what I'm talking about .

So does anybody have any shafts for sale or any spare magnetic tips that could go inside my current shaft ?

As above, find a snap on van and ask the guy to fix it. It's free as snap on stuff have a lifetime guarantee

Same problem with mine. The little magnet dropped out of the end so the driver bits won't stay in. Never see a snap on man around our way nowadays

Theres a step by step online how to change the shaft and its easy looking enough to do but I dont know if the hard black handle shafts are different to the rubberised handle removable shafts ? 2006 DEFENDER 90 TD5 CSW XS

You don't need a receipt, they might have to order the kit but it should be replaced for free. The whole shaft shouldn't need replacing, just the magnet and a little metal plate to hold it in place. Ray
