Oh, you're echoing my thoughts. Although I hate everything Chinese, I'm very surprised that someone hasn't tried importing the Landwind into Europe, where I think it would sell well. Unless, of course, it doesn't conform with EU regulations, and that's why no one has done it. Now left.

Why hasn't Land Wind tried to sell their Ewok in Europe? Because they know that intellectual property rights can be enforced in Europe. The Chinese are shameless not stupid.

I’m surprised someone interested in Landwind doesn’t even know they are already for sale in Europe... http://www.landwind.eu |

If you buy a cheap, fake copy, that is exactly what you'll get. Don't mention safety or crash testing. Still, I'm sure there'll be some that are tempted in the West, as in China.
That Landwind cv9 might look similar to a C-max (or any other MPV) but the quoted emissions are 169 to 223g co2/km. Normally, as a Defender owner that doesn't bother me too much, but it shows how far off being competitive it is. The Chinese will be cheating the tests just the same as VW and many more do. As for LR not making concepts for new vehicles, they would have a hard time convincing people to buy the old model at the premium price if the public knew that the "new" one was just around the corner... |

The chinesse are not stupid and learn very fast . There Ldv product is going better here in Australasia than it ever did when it was made in the uk and there new T60 has just scored a 5 star Ancap .
And lets face it Jerry , your DC100 was such a bad joke for a Defender replacement , No one copied that hideous thing , The Chinesse are not stupid !!!! |

This looks quite good , an improvement on a Jeep and not soft looking , like Jerryz new Land Rovers !!
Would find a few homes on the global stage if it was offered for sale outside China , but I guess they dont need to sell outside of there domestic market because of the sheer size of there market . They were not silly enough to copy the DC100 , Oh thats right , no one was |
