Marketing nonsense. You would be in 4x4 to start with not changing at the bottom of an incline. Hell the Jimny would get that done if it had that much momentum. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

That is a load of complete rubbish.
The L200 has actually got one of the best 4x4 systems out there, you can have 2wd, 4x4 with a centre viscous coupling and 4x4 with the centre locked. The only thing that it can't do is low range without the centred locked.

There are very few good things about that generation of Navara, it might just be their relative comfort.

Gearboxes weren't great, engines weren't great, chassis were terrible, they're huge and heavy...
