performance difference between 110 and 130
hi i have a 110 td5 with 160k on the engine bog standard,i am looking into changing to a 130 and recently had a test drive in a 130 td5 with 80k on it and was disappointed with the performance, the guy put it down to the extra weight of the chassis and the fact its a pickup

have any of you guys changed from a 110 to a 130 with the same engine and tune spec tell me what the difference in performance is

i am hoping the one i drove was just a one off and the power of a decent one is the same as my 110

cheers

Ive had several 110s and 130s there is a small difference but no more than fitting a different set of tyres.

According to Land Rover 0 to 60 figures:- This is the last model but shows the difference.

90 pick up is 14.7
110 DC is 14.7
130 DC is 15.7

I noticed a bit of a difference, it wasn't anything drastic. But maybe consider a remap if you opted for the 130, there's a few great companies to choose from!

If you drive it sensibly you will benefit from better mpg, but if you keep getting tempted with the extra power then no Laughing

The weight difference between 130 and 110 is negligible, we run several 110 s and 130's, I think you'd struggle to notice the difference persay.

Difference could also be down to differences between wastegate actuator adjustment or a dead maf or something.
