2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black
Tyre Advice
Apologies if this has been covered before but just about to order 5 X new tyres and want to change from 235/85/16 to 265/75/16. Going to stick with BFG MTs as current set have done 58,000 miles so see no reason to change to anything else.

What I am wondering about is the effect on mpg if anyone has experience of this? Usage is mix of gravel tracks but mainly road with a couple long road trips each year.

Ps Will have 1 X brand new continental cross contact for sale when I change which has always been a spare.

Got a rear wheel cover so know one will know!
However rightly or wrongly I assumed that it being a diff size to the pending new tyres there would be an issue if I ever got a flat and short term had to run with 1 X diff tyre size?
