Does the M + S give any indication that they might not be too bad in winter?

I have a friend on 110 who use that ones all year around in ST-Peterburg But after every winter he says that he's gonna replace them for next season

I would advise to stays with 235 85 16 if you plan to drive on snow and ice

I'm thinking about buying some winter road tyres for my 90. It has alloy wheels, and I think the tyres are 235/85 x 16"

The only winter specific tyres I can see at online tyre places are the Nokian Hakkapeliitta. Are these okay for road driving (not just in winter), and are they any good as a winter tyre? I'm wondering if there'd be a lot of roll when cornering at higher speeds on dry roads etc......

I run the Nokian LT2 (along with plenty of others) and find them good as a general road tyre. No noticeable extra roll ( I do follow Nokian advice and run them a couple of psi higher than the summer tyres which stiffens them a little.) I will be putting them on again later this year with no hesitation.
