just get the new bulb from the dealer, it'll only be a couple of quid at most.
Put some rubber tube over the ends of your pliers/tweezers. |

I've got some led bulbs on eBay. I've ordered some forceps too, throw money at the problem lol. I'll try something on the end of the tweezers though

forceps arrived today and i was able to change the bulbs out for led ones and they are both working . Have to say they work a treat for anyone faced with similar issue.

They're available in any motor factors worth it's salt for pennies...
