If they are made by First Four then the answer is yes !

Trying to get everything aligned to get the four bolts in was a nightmare plus the FF bumpers have the captive nut plates held on by tape. Every time the bumper moved the plate fell off.

What should have been a 20 minute one man job turned into 3 hours and two people !

I thought he had the old ones made in Poland but I was told he fell out with them or something? I had one of the old ones and they were very good quality but not cheap.

I have heard that before too but thankfully mine was ok. Sold it now but still have the light bracket somewhere.

So which one would you use, would need to be a tube winch bumper Question

Also fitting the Superwinch 9.5i is intresting, out with the grinder again.

This one was an easy fit - made by Landy Spares (AJS Fabrications)

Many thanks. Thumbs Up

I would like to know if anyone has fitted a tube "winch" bumper they are happy with.

I have another Extreme one in stock for my new 90 but don't want to spend hours fitting and fettling it to make it fit.

Ours wasn't an Extreme 4x4 one, but yes it was a pain to fit. Took 3 hours as others have said, and involved giving the bumper a light shave with the angle grinder. Still, it's on now:

you have to remember LR tolerances or lack of them! it must be difficult to make something that will fit all the defenders, some chassis are miles out compared to others. Cheers

Fair comment, but the distance between chassis dumb iron's does not vary that much, I have been working on L/Rovers for over 30 years and have seen many changes.

It would be nice to find a quality tube winch bumper that fits, when you are paying top money for a product I expect it to fit, mabe a very small amout of wriggling and jiggling is OK.

Andy.
