I'm terrible for taking the time to thank people for a job well done, but feel in this case I can more than find the time.
I've just recently had the full Dinitrol treatment on my 2001 Tomb Raider 90 done by the guys at Duke Street Garage in Rochdale and couldn't be happier. https://www.dinitroldirect.com/rochdale-ve...treatment/ The whole experience from start (web-request into Dinitrol sales), pre-discussion on service and timing (with Alan and the team at Rochdale) and quality of work has been amazing - a real quality customer experience. I don't know whether unique to all Dinitrol centres but: - They were completely flexible about drop off / collection and allowed me to leave it for an extended period over a recent holiday - Offered me a loan car (which I didn't need but the offer was very much appreciated) - They kept me fully informed during the process, including a photo-catalogue of all the work that had been done being sent to me a. without asking and b. before I collected the car - so no surprises on collection - opened up on the bank-holiday Saturday to allow me to collect (even though I strongly suspect I was the only customer picking up that day) - AND - went the extra yard and painted a couple of extra external bits (bumper and wing-mirrors) which were rusting / oxidising badly and were letting the side down on overall finish. Had nothing to do with the chassis work and just shows an attention to detail that says they had the brush / spray out and hate to see un-finished metal that could be painted. - Called Me multiple times to let me know on progress and confirm collection - remember the days when you didn't have to chase them for updates! - Stuck to the agreed price - no suggestion of 'extras / surprises' that meant the cost went up - absolutely as quoted. Overall, the look of the car and the quality of the finish is everything I wanted. The drive back even sounded a little quieter due to the coating which is just a bonus. Given I'd been reminded in MOT's to get the chassis done for the last couple of years, I'm pleased I finally got around to putting the car in, and that the whole process was so painless with these guys I had to write. I hope anyone in the same position and in doubt as to when / where they might get it done to there machine before tin-worm sets in can use the following as a genuine and unbiased (no sponsorship or endorsement deal here!) recommendation. Cheers Defender 90 - Tomb Raider LE Discovery 5 HSE - yes, even despite the ugly backend. Range Rover 4.2SC - Gone and still being missed |
