2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
Front Wing Skin Removal 2014 puma
Getting the last bit of the safety devices front external windscreen hoop installed and SD is Recommend removal of the front wing outer “skins” to access mounting points etc.

I’m looking for a step by step on how they are to be removed. Can’t be worse than the gullwing window install ahahahah

Thank you mates!

It’s all nut and bolts.

Take the wheel arches off first. Buy replacement clips from Halfords or eBay, don’t go to LR, way too expensive.

Basically find the fittings and undo.

When I did mine (Performance and Protection on my 110 and Safety Devices roll cage on the current 90 HT) there was one fitting towards the windscreen I struggled with on both vehicles. By the time you have the other fittings out there was enough room to get a hacksaw blade in a I cut it off. I am pretty certain that I never replaced it either .

Sorry I can’t give you more than that. It’s not hard, just a case of working your way round.

Might be worth looking at some of the galleries on the Devon 4x4 website as that have fitted a number of roll cages .

Good luck. It’s a job I enjoyed doing
