[For Sale] Immaculate 2014 90 Station Wagon (Twisted)

After much consideration time has come for me to sell my pride and joy.
The car has been meticulously maintained by myself, full service history and an extensive pack of documentation. This vehicle was featured in the Land Rover Owners Calendar in 2015, of which a copy will be included to keep the history intact.

This was a factory order vehicle, and has been carefully modified throughout my ownership. The bulk of the modifications were carried out at Twisted in February 2016. The List of Modifications can be found below.

Base Vehicle:
2014 MY14 Defender 90 XS Station Wagon (covered 14,500miles)
Metallic Corris Grey with Metallic Santorini Black contrast Roof
Dual finish SVX alloy wheels
Factory fitted carpets
Genuine Land Rover rubber front mats
Genuine Land Rover rubber rear load area mat

A full Dinitrol protection was performed by CSK at 3 days old.

Twisted Modifications:
Gloss Black rear crossmember and tow pack, 7 pin electrics in rear cross member
Gloss black Twisted DRL bumper, with DRL controller
Twisted 6mm Aluminium Sump Guard
Black chequer plate to XS side steps, including replacement of rivets for stainless fasteners
A2 Stainless Steel Fixings of LR type to: doors, bonnet, and cross member
Twisted Stage 1 Air Intake Mesh Grille
Genuine Recaro Heated CS Sportster front seats in black leather with black stitch and alcantara centres
Rear Windows tinted to 30% including alpine lights
Twisted grained leather, black with black stitching to dash tops, under binnacle, grab handle and LR cubby box. This was colour combination was custom order, as standard the leather has white stitching
Metallic Santorini Black centre console

Additional Modifications:
Bowler Stage 1 Remap (175bhp, 450Nm) (Stickers never fitted but included),
Syncro Gearboxes Defender Puma/TDCI Slickshift Gear lever modification,
Momo Tuner Steering wheel with Optimill Quick Release Boss,
Genuine LR Gloss Black Bonnet Lettering,
Genuine LR Metallic Corris Grey Light Surrounds and Metallic Santorini Black Grill louvres (removed from an LXV),
Nolden Dark Chrome Bi-LED headlights with stainless steel powder coated mounting ring and stainless steel fixings plus wiring Harness to run position lights,
Nakatanenga LED High Level Brake Light,
Nakatanenga LED Smoked Wing Indicators,
Le Perei NAS Rear LED Lights (Stop (Red), Indicator, Fog and Reverse (Clear)) with Genuine Land Rover Plinths, Wipac Indicator variable relay,
Metallic Corris Grey Wing Mirror Covers,
Nakatanenga Stainless Steel Black Powder Coated Intercooler Grill with Stainless Fasteners,
4x4 Overlander Brushed Stainless Steel Rear Door Sill Strip,
Entreq Snow cowl (near side) and matching blanking plate (offside),
A2 Stainless Security Fasteners to: lights (front & back), wing top vent blank and snow cowl,
Bosch Retro fit Aeroblade Wiper Blades, Upgraded programmable intermittent wiper relay,
Genuine Special edition Adventure pedals

There are bound to be parts I have forgotten but I will go through everything with anyone wishing to view.

Paintwork was treated by a local detailer and ceramic coated late last year (coating warranted up to 5 years). At the same time the Twisted bumper, wing mirror backs and side sills were wrapped in Paint Protection Film (PPF) to prevent damage from stone chips and general wear and tear.

I hope from the photos you can see just how clean this 90 is.
The vehicle is located in the Midlands and viewings are welcome. Photo ID will be required.

Asking price is £40,000. This will include the private plate and a lot of the original parts removed by myself.

I've been offered £34k for my bog standard 110XS from a dealer so can see why yours would easily pull more than £30k 1951 80" S1 2.0

"Adam",..like I've said, "a magnificent Defender" & prices are certainly holding up well.
Perhaps it would assist in showing the value of your Defender if you were able to say what a new vehicle equipped like yours would cost?

As the vehicle has been built to my own specification it's difficult to compare to vehicles currently for sale. A "Classic" Twisted Station wagon is currently listed for circa £72,000 on delivery miles. My specification differs but probably evens out with the addition of the Recaros and other parts I added my self.

In its current state its cost me considerably more than the asking price.

Some owners do not like to disclose "what they paid" etc, & fair enough.
I think this info will show the value in your Defender, for someone who is REALLY interested in a top spec, tastefully enhanced 90, with 100% quality enhancements.

Stuff just costs more now?

I wonder if LR Motors/Twisted might be interested in it? TMD also buy the best examples but I guess both wouldn't offer top price. Depends how quick you need a sale.

My mate has 6 brand new Defenders and an every day Heritage in his heated garage all XS and above no bling tho'. He says it's his retirement fund.7
