Nfu wouldn't insure me cos I've got a winch?
Heratige wouldn't insure me either?

Bizarre! I have mods on my 2015 110 XS utility and they were fine. I do not use the website however and go direct to the local NFU branch. Remember if you are using online several questions are answered behind the website portal that you can't view and this can make a difference. 2015 Defender 110 XS Utility Santorini Black, sawtooth alloys, steps and so much more...........

See my post a few days ago, Heritage called me to say if it's over £5000 and modified or used off road then it has to be in a garage overnight or they won't touch it. They did say they think other companies will follow due to high theft rate.

Keeping a vehicle in a garage could in some circumstances make it easier to steal. But I wouldn't waste my time trying to justify that statement to an insurance company!
