Another 6 week trip to Georgia leaving tomorrow . Sadly the planned road trip in my 110 2.2 is cancelled due to it being held up with no gearboxes in stock , so it will be resting at the dealer for the entire time . They won't let me take the LR assistance 2013 disco . I have posted info on this destination and trip before and if anyone would like something brought back from my travels then will try my best . I will be using our car in Tbilisi ( Lincoln Navigator president ) and travel to Batumi , Odessa and Kasbeg . Cheers Keith

normally your average man in the street is sceptical you'll get robbed it's dangerous ....................are the sort of things people will say when most of them would'nt know where it is have a great trip and yes,,,hmmmm could you take some photos and put them on the forum is it business or pleasure?? |

Hello from Georgia . 14 days into my trip both business and pleasure , sadly without 110 as its Still in the dealer getting new gearbox and other problems fixed . That's 3 wks it's been in . It's 00:35 here in Georgia and I am in the Black Sea resort of Batumi where my wife has just bought an apartment . I drove from Tbilisi to Batumi last week through amazing mountains and scenery . We have a meat production factory specialising in sausages and a bakery specialising in biscuits in Tbilisi . I'm gonna bring the defender through Europe and cross the Black Sea from Varna - Batumi ( 60hrs ) If I ever get it back in 1 piece from the dealer I will be fitting one of 90s new steering guards first . An amazing place to travel with a defender through Georgia with stop and camp anywhere roads and terrain . However , undoubtably the worst drivers in the world , with no tests required , no set rules of the road , no speed restrictions and anything goes attitude . If you drive like them then you will fit in . I saw today a 1000 ft long oil tanker come 50ft close to the beach before docking in the port . Ppffffew it was close . The Black Sea goes straight down deep I'm told . The Lincoln I use here is an Escalade and not a navigator as I mentioned before . ( it's almost as big as that tanker )
