I do like the look of his Pro Vent installation. I am going to get around to copying that at some point. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Why didn't the owner make any mention about the bed?

Perhaps in Oz those beds are common as muck, but I was also hoping he'd say where it came from. It looked a really well thought out alloy bed, much more suitable for many applications than the standard rear buck.

From my limited travels down under, tray backs like that are common on most types of ute. The bog standard tradesman set up. I'm sure one of our resident Antipodeans can shed more light on it. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

You are correct Blackwolf. The majority of 130's sold in Australia would be sold as cab chassis configuration. The owner would the put a steel or aluminium tray on the back or an enclosed canopy in steel or aluminium. Costs are variable but enclosed canopy variants could be around $8000-$10,000 AUD depending upon materials and specifications. The same happens with the Toyota Landcruiser dual cabs. There are many manufacturers of ute trays here in Australia as they are so popular, especially given the use by rural property owners and tradies. |

I liked the mod that moved all the electrics from under the seat to a box under the cubby. Pretty slick.
I'll need to look through the video again, I think he mentioned some name of a kit for it. That is one SWEET ride. it's a Landrover thing... my renovation thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40792.html |

Those electrical boxes are called an ExBox and are supplied here is Australia by Mulgo. You should be able to find them at www.expeditioncentre.com.au Daniel has lots of useful products for Land Rovers.
I hope this helps. |

Not for wading, but I'd love to have one in time. Creates extra storage space under the the passenger seat (lhd Defender).
