I recently noticed a bit of diesel around the rear of the engine so I serviced to FPR this afternoon - gasket, o-rings and regulator itself - all of which went well until I noticed that I have a small leak from the injector spill return pipe, specifically at the junction of the solid pipe to the rubber section.
I've tried LRCat but can't find a part number. Is this part available or does it come with a new FPR? Secondly, how do you get to the other end of the pipe (from the FPR end) to change it? Looks as if you need hands like Donald Trump to get in there. As a temporary fix, would it be a good idea to squeeze the pipe Union with a jubilee clip? |
