May not be necessary for our forthcoming trip to Scotland (and the NC500), but I decided to replace the two seals on my Al'Jerry Can recently...(and give it a quick polish...
![]() I have only used this on a few occasions in the UK, to avoid Motorway Fuel Prices (...I know... but my Wife's a canny Scot and I've got use to realising she's right ![]() Mine is strapped down to a cargo floor anchor fixing and also linked to the tubular cross brace behind the front passenger seat. Interesting comment about travelling with Jerry Cans cross channel, I would guess, ensuring these are always empty would get round the T&C from Ferry Companies, but need to check this...(that will be us next year) ![]() Click image to enlarge SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it
Volume (imp gall) x10xSG =lb mas Volume (l)xSG = kg mass Although im so glad my flying apps work that out for me now...mass when doing aircraft weight and balance is a touch more important than a car will ever be ![]() |
