Personal experience from years as military mech and Sods law the one spare you actually end up needing is the one you didnt take. So these days take very few spares but have a good set of bodge ingredients, tape, wire adhesives that sort of thing and of course a decent tool kit.
Once did a bodge demo on an military vehicle, we but a lot of bodge bits on then drove it about. Even half of the ignition system was swopped out. Surprising what you can do just to limp you on to where you can get help. Third world garages are masters of the trade. |
